In 2012 I moved from Turkey back to Canada, but this time I decided to land on the West coast. My life since then has been a continuous set of upheavals, from coast to coast and later province to province. I alternated between cultures and languages.
I now find myself in the anniversary of my return to Toronto one year ago. I'll elucidate later, but for now suffice it to say that I spent all of last summer travelling around from BC to Nevada and Arizona back to Ottawa and Montreal.
In a month I'll find myself back in Turkey, three years after my departure. What will it feel like to step back into my former life only for a visit?
I'll visit Portugal afterwards, Lisbon, Sintra, and the Algarves - it'll be my first time, and I can't wait to mix the old and the new.
